The site owner is currently in the process of securing adverse possession of the land, which is undesignated in the local plan. The site presents several challenges, including topographical constraints, close proximity to surrounding properties affecting layout, mining concerns, and the presence of knotweed.
We focused on helping the site owner secure adverse possession and successfully convert it to absolute title, making the land insurable for future sale and development—a process that took three years. During this time, we also managed the knotweed issue on site. Once both matters were resolved, we partnered with Cube Housing to support their planning application, which was approved in time for the title conversion to be completed.
